Are Pollutants really linked to diabetes?

If you dwell in the area, where toxic waste is prevalent, then you are more likely to turn out a diabetic. A new observational study, which tracked hospitalization rates for patients in New York between 1993 and 2000, has given vent to this view. Researchers believe that people are mainly exposed to these toxic wastes by eating animal fats and air which they breathe in. However, the chief factor of toxic waste that turn people more vulnerable to diabetes is still obscured but it is being supposed that, as the liver, which might alter the gene that regulates insulin sensitivity, cannot break down these compounds. At the same time, this assumption is also in the air that PCBs can influence fat retention in the body, which may higher up the chances of diabetes.
