Patients with Type 2 diabetes aged 35 to 54 are at three times more risk of dying early than the same age group without the disease. The Type 2 diabetes develops when the body does not make enough insulin or when the produced insulin does not work as it should be. This study is published in the journal of Diabetic Medicine. The study was concluded on 264,000 patients of the age group. Charity Diabetes UK described the study as appalling.
