Diabetics stay alert now, as two drugs have been found that can help treat and prevent Type2 diabetes. One of these drugs prevent heart attacks and heart diseases also.
These drugs include rosiglitazone (Avandia) that can prevent the risk of developing Type2 diabetes.
The other drug called pioglitazone HCL (ACTOS) useful in controlling diabetes offer 23 percent less risk of heart strokes.
Diabetics who are obese and are also affected with heart problems can be cured with these drugs. Nevertheless, you must consult your doctor before finally resorting to these as it’s still not clear that whether these drugs can cause side-effects or not.
