If you like having, Soybeans in your meal then prefer black ones (black soybeans) because it has been found helpful in controlling weight gain and preventing diabetes. Moreover, it has also been found helpful in bringing down cholesterol level, which means it is good for cardiovascular health too. These medicinal properties of black soybeans sprang out from a study conducted by South Korean researches in which they monitored the effects of black soybeans on two groups of mice. In study it was found that, the group, which received ten per cent of its energy from black soya beans, put on half as much weight as the control group. It saw a 60 per cent drop in the ‘bad’,a LDL type of cholesterol.
