I just wanted to add my reaction after having used exubera for several weeks. I am a type 1 diabetic and have been diabetic for the last 12 years (I am 57 now). I got off the pump (I used it about 10 years, but grew tired of the apparatus on me) last summer. Exubera seems to be a wonderful needleless option. It is extremely easy to take and seems to work at least as effectively as injected insulin. I have had some of my best jogs (i.e. taking less apparent effort) since I started using exubera. I hope type 2 diabetic who need insulin know about this easy to use way of getting insulin. Gail
