The number of services, for type II diabetics, under Medicare is being increased by the Federal Government in U.S. The new Medicare services will be processed by dietitians, diabetes instructors and exercise physiologists. About 20,000 diabetes patients will be assisted with this development each year. Health Minister Tony Abbott says that despite of bigger loads on health professionals, they can provide better services to the citizens.
