Diabetics need to pay attention regarding their ill-wells. A protein p53 found to be related to diabetes, responsible for triggering diabetes and related complications.
It is proved recently, by Cho Jin-won, a biology professor. But, further studies required getting more of diabetes.
I think, it’ll be too early to come to any final conclusion, the study require far more research. However, identification of p53 defects needs to be removed to curb diabetes as far as possible. Trials need to be conducted to test the working of p53 in a wider way and to develop a preventative method.
