Research to find the link between diabetes and memory loss

Diabetes, sometimes, causes memory loss. A research team of the University of Edinburgh is going to start a study to find out the link between diabetes and the decline of mental health. Type 2 diabetes is linked with an increased risk of memory harm and dementia. The researchers will gather people of age group 60-75 suffering from type 2 diabetes. They will ask the people to go through some puzzle-based tests. During the test, the experts will collect the details of their heart function and blood sugar levels. After four years, the participants will be again gathered to see if any changes occurred in their brain functions.
