Rituximab, a cancer drug, gives new hope for diabetes treatment

Here is a new hope for the patients of diabetes. A cancer treatment, Rituximab, may help diabetes patients to get a possible treatment. The monoclonal antibody targets B cells that may cause type 1 diabetes. This is not a traditional chemotherapy. It may cause short-range effects such as fever, chills, and headache. The further research is going on the diabetes patients by giving them Rituximab.
